Sancho 24: Speculations surrounding Jadon Sancho at Man United . He joined Borussia Dortmund on the second half of the last season and the German Bundesliga club has reached the Champions League final at Wembley stadium.
The England international had left the Old Trafford club and moved back to Germany after vehemently disrespecting United boss Erik ten Hag in September 2023, which saw him being demoted to train with the AC.
Ten Hag is yet to find out if he will be given an opportunity to complete his contract at Old Trafford as apart from guiding United to clinch the FA Cup there has been a poor season that saw the team record their worst ever performance in the Premier League with a mere eighth position.
However, the BBC stated that United will seek to transfer Sancho this summer regardless of the manager and are going to offer £40 million for the winger.
The media suggests that Dortmund would like the 24-year-old to come back next season, but it is claimed that the club are seeking a loan. United, however, would prefer a straight sale, knowing transfer funds will be limited because of Financial Fair Play (FFP) restrictions.
Sancho joined United from Dortmund in a £73million deal back in July 2021 and has two years left on his contract.
The BBC report added there has been interest from Europe, with Juventus Serie A giants Juventus among the clubs previously linked with the ex-Manchester City and Watford academy player.
