MAJINA YA WALIOITWA KWENYE USAHILI:PCCB/ TAKUKURU Call For Oral Interview. The Institute for the Prevention and Combating of Corruption (PCCB/TAKUKURU) is a public institution established under the Prevention and Combating of Corruption Law No. 11 of 2007.
This law replaced the earlier Law for the Prevention of Corruption (TAKUKURU) Chapter 329, which was revised in 2002.
The creation of this institution followed the passage of the Prevention and Combating of Corruption Bill of 2007 by the Parliament of the United Republic of Tanzania on April 16, 2007. This bill was signed into law by President Jakaya Kikwete on June 11, 2007, and became effective on July 1, 2007.
Among its responsibilities, the PCCB/TAKUKURU aims to prevent corruption by enhancing existing systems.
To achieve this objective, it conducts research, analyzes systems, monitors the use of public resources (PETS), facilitates collaboration among stakeholders to develop strategies for implementing PCCB/TAKUKURU recommendations, and oversees the execution of these strategies.
