Vacancies at Air Tanzania Company Limited. Air Tanzania Company Limited (ATCL) serves as the national carrier of Tanzania, embodying the nation’s pride and symbolizing Mt Kilimanjaro through its slogan, ‘The Wings of Kilimanjaro.’ Situated in Dar es Salaam.
It operates from the modern Julius Nyerere International Airport, utilizing Terminals II and III as its primary hub. The airline holds IOSA certification and is a distinguished member of IATA and AFRAA, having joined the latter in 1977 after the dissolution of East African Airways.
As a government-owned entity, ATCL boasts a fleet of 12 aircraft, comprising one Dash 8-Q300, five Dash 8-Q400, four Airbus A220-300, and two Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft. Plans for fleet expansion by the end of 2023 include the addition of one Dash 8 Q400, two Boeing 737 Max – 9, one Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, and one Boeing 767 Freighter.
With its youthful fleet, ATCL remains at the forefront of Tanzanian aviation, offering extensive domestic and international connectivity with over 120 weekly flights to more than 15 destinations. Presently, Air Tanzania operates over 10 domestic routes from its hub in Dar es Salaam.
