The Mkwawa University College of Education is a Constituent College of the University of Dar es Salaam in Iringa, Tanzania. The College was established in 2005 following the upgrading of the former Mkwawa High School in response to the growing demand for teachers in the country.

Before 2016 it was known as The President’s Office, Public Service Management (PO-PSM). Its chief executive and accounting officer is the Permanent Secretary, who has a workforce of about 300 employees.
Formerly known as the Civil Service Department, it was transformed into President’s Office, Public Service Management (PO-PSM) in the year 2003 to conform to the newly enacted Public Service Act No. 8 of 2002.
