Key Responsibilities:

  1. Make a range of meals that meet hygienic and schedule requirements while maintaining a high standard of quality.
  2. Reduce food waste and make sure kitchen appliances are used correctly.
  3. Keep the kitchen and sanitation facilities spotless at all times.
  4. Take full responsibility for the quality of the products you serve as key people.
  5. understands and regularly abides by our standard cooking techniques, portion sizes, quality standards, and kitchen regulations, procedures, and rules.
  6. keeps enough food supplies, such as water and plates, stocked and maintained at line stations to ensure a seamless service time.
  7. Before cooking, portion food items in accordance with recipe guidelines and normal serving proportions.
  8. portions, batters, breads, seasons, and/or marinates food in preparation for broiling, grilling, frying, and other cooking techniques.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Three years or more of experience as a chef, ideally in an institutional or corporate setting.
  • Ability to cook a wide range of foods, both traditional and contemporary.
  • The capacity to create effective food plans.
  • Having a culinary arts credential from an accredited school is an additional benefit.
  • Excellent communication abilities and the capacity to function well under duress.
