11,000+ Teaching Positions Available at PSRS (Utumishi)

On behalf of the Regional Secretariats and Local Government Authorities, the Secretary of the Public Service Recruitment Secretariat is extending an invitation to competent and capable Tanzanians to apply for 11,000+ open jobs.

 

General Conditions

Applicants must first be citizens of Tanzania and must be under the age of 45, with the exception of those already working for the government. Teachers applying for Grade III B and Grade III C posts are also required to submit an Academic Transcript through the “Ajira Portal” system, which is used to recognise teaching subjects.

 

On top of that, we urge anyone who may be affected by a disability to apply for a position and to let the Public Service Recruitment Secretariat know about it through the online application process. Also, a certified copy of your birth certificate from a lawyer or advocate is required for all candidates. Applicants who are currently employed by the government and have earned credentials for different cadres are required to apply for jobs through their employers, who must then certify their employment.

 

Applicants are also required to provide three credible references and a detailed curriculum vitae (CV) with up-to-date contact information. Lastly, documents such as birth certificates, completion certificates for Forms Four and Six, and certifications of various training courses that align with the relevant job qualifications, as well as descriptions and certified copies of certificates issued by a Lawyer or Advocate, are required to accompany all applications.

 

Levels of Education and Qualifications:

 

Postgraduate, Degree, Advanced Diploma, Diploma, and Certificate.

Results for the Forms IV and VI exams

Academic Credentials: 11015 Available Teaching Positions, Computer Proficiency, and Professional Certification from Accredited Boards

Please note that we will not accept testimonials, provisional results, statements of results, or results slips from Form IV or Form VI. The appropriate authorities (TCU, NECTA, and NACTE) must verify and validate applicants’ certificates if they studied outside of Tanzania.

 

No one currently working in entry-level roles for the government should apply for this position. Circular No. CAC. 45/257/01/D/140, dated November 30, 2010, instead, lays out the necessary steps that they must do. Also, you can end up in court if you submit fabricated credentials and information. Last but not least, August 2, 2024 is when all applications must be submitted.
