New Employment for 4,000 Business Subject Teachers
Prof. Adolf Mkenda has hinted at the issuance of a permit to recruit 4,000 business subject teachers to teach secondary school students from Form One to Form Four under the new curriculum.
The President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Her Excellency Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, has approved the recruitment of 4,000 business subject teachers to teach secondary school students from Form One to Form Four under the new curriculum aimed at bringing transformation in business education.
New Employment for 4,000 Business Subject Teachers
This was stated on November 23, 2024, in Dodoma by the Minister of Education, Science, and Technology, Prof. Adolf Mkenda, during the opening of orientation training for newly appointed District School Quality Assurance Officers.
Additionally, Prof. Mkenda urged school quality assurance officers to collaborate with Municipal Directors to facilitate their work, as some challenges can be resolved at the municipal level rather than relying on the Ministry of Education.
The training is themed: “School Quality Assurance with Professionalism, Ethics, and Accountability for Positive Learning Outcomes.”
